CGP (Grammar) pages 6, 7, 10 and 11.

 

Then using the format letter to Paddington, write a letter telling Paddington about your Christmas day

 

TT rockstars 

Maths – CGP 8 and 9.

 

Then practice the 3 times tables.

PE – Try to do a Joe Wicks workout, go for a local walk, bounce on the trampoline, run around the garden or run on the spot. See if you can do something for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

PSHE – We are learning about rules and laws. We are going to write about rules they have at home, school in shops etc. can they do a poster about rules.

Science – we are starting to do work around the skeleton. Today can they make a skeleton out of paper, cotton buds or straws. They can label the bones they already know and write down what they want to find out about in relation to skeletons.

Look at these characters from folktales. Describe them using good sentences. Think about what they are wearing and try to use prepositions ( On top of his head ….   Behind him … ) Also use adjectives (describing words – beautiful, small, massive, lovely etc)  and adverbs (how you do things – slowly, quickly, speedily etc)

Geography – We are starting our topic on Volcanoes so today I want them to draw and label a volcano. Can they also find out information about the volcanoes – what each part is for? What happens when a volcano erupts etc

Thinking about characters from yesterday can you draw and write about a character of your own. Be really descriptive and make sure your sentences are good.

RE – We are looking at the religion Hinduism. We are starting off looking at how important families are. The children need to draw and write about their own family and why they are all important in different ways.

Art – Please can the children all draw a piece of fruit from observation. They need to think bout the size of the fruit, colour, shape, any lines on the fruit etc
