Great Fire of London Workshop!
Designs for a new outdoor area for school!
This half term the children have been learning about the local area around our school. We talked about what outdoor space we have already and then discussed ways that we could make our outdoor areas even better!
The children had some amazing ideas such as race tracks, dance floors, play areas, swimming pool and even a petting zoo!
We had so much fun creating these posters!
Compass Directions
In this lesson we learnt about compasses and discussed different ways and reasons why we use them.
We then used the compasses to see what was around our local area in different directions.
Guess Who?!
Our topic this half term is learning about ourselves and how we have changed over our lifetimes.
In this lesson we played a game of 'guess who' and had to work out which baby picture was which Year 1 child! Year 1 had so much fun doing this!
Later we discussed all of the ways that we have grown up since these pictures were taken.
