Writing:
Use the information in the comprehension text 'From a Railway Carriage' to imagine you were one of the first people to ride on a train. write a letter to someone explaining your journey. How did you feel? was the journey much quicker? What did you see? what sounds did you hear? Remember, steam trains were a lot different from the trains you see today.
