Counting in 2’s
Ordering Numbers
Odd and Even
We have been learning about odd and even numbers in maths. We looked at Numicon blocks and identified which of the numbered blocks had an odd one out, meaning that they were an odd number. Then we used this to help us sort number cards into the correct categories.
Finding fractions of shapes
We learnt about fractions this week and learnt that a fraction means part of a whole. We looked at images and folded them to show the shape in half and then in quarters. After that we drew our own shapes and identified how to split the shape into half or quarter.
