Maths- Number Year 1 will be learning to: - Count forwards and backwards to 20
- Solve problems and practical problems involving number and place value.
- Solve one-step problems involving adding and subtracting
- Counting in 1, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.
- Compare, describe and measure lengths and heights.
- Finding out 1 more and 1 less than a number
- Recognise and create repeating patterns with numbers, objects and shapes.

Science- Animals including humans Year 1 will be learning to: - Identify and name human body parts
- How to stay healthy
- Name and investigate our 5 senses
History- This is Me Year 1 will be learning to: - Recognise the difference between the past and present in their own and other people’s lives.
- Place events in order showing the passing of time.
- Understand who the different members of their family are.
- Identify similarities and differences between ways of life in different periods.
ICT Year 1 will be learning to: - Use a keyboard correctly
- Add images to text
- Save and retrieve work
Art- painting Year 1 will be learning to: - Experiment with a variety of media; pencils, rubbers, crayons, pastels, felt tips, charcoal, ballpoints, chalk.
- Investigate tone by drawing light/dark lines, light/dark patterns, light/dark shapes.
- Identify primary and secondary colours by name.
- Mix primary shades and tones.
